As a traditional family business with more than 60 years of experience manufacturing and installing staircases, the company has evolved through many phases.
Originally a wood-product manufacturer with 35 production employees, Siller has become increasingly specialized over the past several years. More and more individual staircase components have been outsourced to other skilled manufacturers that are leaders in their respective fields. This has allowed Siller to focus ever more closely on design and product development. The result of this evolution is a growing number of outstanding designs brought to market using innovative technology and new materials. Throughout this process, we adhere to the principle that collaboration with our partners must meet high social and ethical standards. We set exceptionally high standards for the workmanship of both the materials and the finished product. In return, we pay a fair price that allows every company to compensate its employees appropriately for their work. We expect the same commitment from our customers.
Prototypes and individual staircase components are developed in our in-house workshop with the involvement of Mr. Siller and our head of engineering.
Siller staircases are delivered to nearly every part of the world. Our designs and materials range from established choices such as wood, steel, and glass to unusual materials such as Corian and carbon fiber, as well as elaborate metal finishes such as bronze and platinum. Depending on the project location and the materials required, we work with the best-suited fabricators to achieve a flawless result. Siller shares its own expertise and coordinates the work of the various manufacturers. Our partners are exclusively European craft businesses employing 10–40 people. This scale provides the production flexibility needed to realize our clients’ most unconventional requests.
