Visible metal components are kept to an absolute minimum and, where used at all, are limited to discreetly integrated point fixings between the tread and the wall or glass wall. In particularly purist designs, such as the LONDRA model, steel and stainless steel elements can be eliminated entirely.
All-glass staircases can be integrated into a wide range of architectural concepts—whether straight, curved, half-turn, or quarter-turn, with or without a glass landing. More complex forms, including spiral staircases such as the SKY-SCREW model, further demonstrate the material’s versatility in both design and engineering.
Their virtually unlimited adaptability to spatial configurations allows for solutions that blend seamlessly into private residences as well as prestigious public buildings.
A key design advantage lies in the quality of the glass itself. Low-iron “extra-clear” glass significantly reduces greenish or bluish tints, delivering exceptional visual clarity and purity. The result is an even greater sense of lightness and an almost floating experience underfoot.
