Concrete stairs
Design concrete stairs – precise engineering for inside and outside
Modern concrete stairs from Siller combine architectural clarity with technical innovation and a reduced, contemporary design language. They are used both indoors and outdoors and fit into a wide variety of architectural concepts as powerful, monolithic design elements.
The focus is on the development of high-precision, self-supporting concrete structures that combine exceptional visual lightness with maximum structural stability. A significant development step was already achieved in 2011 with the successful test load on a self-supporting concrete step, which withstood a load of 350 kg with a material thickness of only 8 cm. This makes it one of the particularly slim solutions of its kind.
This technical performance is based on a specially developed internal structure of the concrete elements. The targeted combination and coordination of various additional components creates a high-performance concrete whose properties are precisely tailored to the requirements of self-supporting structures. Numerous series of tests led to the optimal material composition and enabled the implementation of extremely slim, load-bearing steps.
Design concrete stairs are created as a result of intensive research, engineering precision and design vision. They appear solid and light, robust and elegant at the same time - and thus make a strong architectural statement in the room.
The result is stair solutions that are not only characterized by their technical performance
