The ‘Ghost’ staircase is a cantilevered structure with glass steps. What makes this design special is that the supporting structure is also clad in glass panels, and both the steps and the walls are illuminated by LEDs.

The steps can, of course, also be manufactured without LEDs. There are countless options for wall cladding, ranging from plasterboard to natural wood or stone cladding, right through to modern designer walls made from synthetic materials.
