At Siller, cantilevered stairs are one of our signature designs, known for their modern elegance and innovative approach. A prime example is the Europa cantilevered staircase, which can be crafted from a variety of materials, shapes, and finishes to suit your unique space and style.

Typically, cantilevered treads have a sleek, angular shape and can be made from any type of timber. These treads are fixed to a straight wall without visible fixings, creating a floating effect that’s both minimalist and striking. For added sophistication, we offer options with minimalistic glass or stainless steel railings to enhance the open, airy feel.

Versatile Materials and Design Options
Siller’s cantilevered stairs can be customized in different materials, including porcelan. The treads in porcelan can be as thin as 80mm (up to a width of 995mm), making them incredibly sleek compared to the standard thickness of 130mm for each tread.

For commercial stair projects, we can increase the tread width to 1500mm, with thickness starting at 100mm, depending on the load requirements. In addition, cantilevered stairs can be adapted to curved or helical stair shapes, offering even more design flexibility. The conical shape of these cantilevered steps adds another level of elegance, where the underside of the tread is leveled and gradually decreases towards the stair eye. This stunning design can be made in wood, concrete, or even synthetic materials such as Corian and acrylic.
